Welcome to Nativity of Our Lord’s
2025-26 Religious Education Program

Every year, we are committed to the spiritual growth of our children while challenging your own faith life. We cannot stress how important the parents are in a child's religious formation. You are their greatest influence and have made a great decision to enroll your child in our program however your work does not stop here.

Every year, it is standard practice to re-evaluate our program to find better methods of educating your children. This year is no different.

We contribute to the success of our growth due to our faithful catechists, our congregation and ministry leaders who continue to volunteer in our program. Our well-rounded curriculum’s goal is to inspire and motivate each child to develop love of the Father, have a personal encounter with Jesus Christ with guidance and knowledge of the Holy Spirit. We successfully build an understanding of the basic beliefs in the Roman Catholic faith and lay the foundation and encouragement to carry those beliefs throughout their adult lives while strengthening community.

Our program has been slightly modified for the upcoming 2025-2026 year.

Requirements are:

  • 16 Sessions

    • Tues: 6:00 pm - 7:15pm

In addition to your child’s specific grade requirement, there are many special events going on throughout the year. Don’t miss them!

  • Children’s Liturgy - A team of volunteers offer the children of our Parish the opportunity to meet during the Liturgy of the word to “discuss” the Gospel guided by two adult facilitators. These sessions take place the first weekend of the month at the Sunday Mass at 11:00 AM.

  • Thanksgiving Drive – Every grade can help by donating food for the less fortunate. Click here for details.

  • Sports Mass 3/22/26 at the 11:00 am Mass - All athletes who attend are to dress in their sports uniform and bring with them one piece of equipment. After the homily, the children and their equipment will receive a special blessing. In addition, parents who are coaches are also invited to attend wearing their team’s jersey or uniform. They too will receive a blessing.

We hope this year’s program will help all families grow in their faith. We look forward to assisting you and helping guide you and your child through a spiritual path that you will follow through life.
